Sorry guys, no review today! I’ve been busy with life and haven’t been reading quite as quickly as I had hoped to. I should have a review of A Veil of Spears ready to go on Tuesday (it’s a fantastic book) and I’ve GOT to do a Stacking the Shelves post this week… I think I just have too many hobbies and not enough time!
If it ever stops snowing and being drizzly and cold here, I have seeds to plant. It’s too much of a mess to bring the bag of potting soil in the house – I’d have to vacuum EVERYTHING. I’m also going to try my hand at embroidery when I do catch up on my ARCs (maybe in April?). I used to embroidery when I was younger and I’d love to get back into it and maybe learn some new techniques. I’ve been finding some amazingly talented folks on Instagram – they’re artists with needle and thread! Also, once the weather clears up, I’ve got hiking and photography to do. I don’t do the cold or the muddy crappiness of early spring, but when the sun finally shows it’s face, the flowers bloom, and the trees leaf out I’ll be out wandering the mountains and trails once again.
So yeah, I may step back on my book requests to fit in some of my other enjoyments, but we’ll see how that goes. There’s just so many good books coming out this year and I can’t miss out on them! What other hobbies do you readers/bloggers have and how do you find time for all of them?

I do calligraphy and I recently stopped my calligraphy instagram and decided to use the skill for my blog instead.

I tried to do the whole bookstagram thing, but it turns out I’m terrible at staging book photos! Now I’ve switched over to showcasing my landscapes and nature pics which is way more fun.

I play Magic the Gathering a couple of times a month with a guy I know. That’s about my only hobby outside of reading.
Movies and tv are pretty much limited to either some favorites of mine (Die Hard, John Wick, Star Wars trilogy, etc) or what ever is on Prime. And usually even that is reserved for background noise when I’m writing a review or a post.

I can’t commit to a tv series… I just stop watching after a few episodes most of the time. John Wick and Star Wars – YESSSS.

I wish I had time for more hobbies but it seems like my job, my blog and my volunteer commitments at my daughter’s school take up all my time. I don’t like to be too busy, it stresses me out😁

I understand! Between my job and keeping up the house I don’t have enough time to do everything, so I have to choose a couple things to juggle.

I play online games, with my husband most nights, and once a week we get together with some friends to play Overwatch and these days Sea of Thieves. It can get hard to balance hobbies and fit in reader, but that’s where audiobooks have really helped me!
