“Waiting On Wednesday” is a weekly meme originally hosted on Breaking the Spine but has since linked up with “Can’t Wait Wednesday” at Wishful Endings now that the original creator is unable to host it anymore. This is a great way to share upcoming released you’re excited about!
This book captured my attention at the first glance – the cover is just… eye catching. I was browsing Edelweiss because I’ve neglected to do so for several months and this upcoming release from Harper Voyager just immediately grabbed me. I checked out the synopsis and was SOLD. Vita Nostra is a bestselling Russian fantasy first published in 2007 annnnd for the first time it’s being translated into English for release in November 2018!

I hope it works well. I’ve had great success reading the Night Watch series by Lukyanenko but then I had a pretty bad time with some other russian fantasy book and I couldn’t tell if it was the original or the translator.
Translators make such a big impact!

I have a copy of The Scar by these authors that I still have to read. I’m eyeing this one too though, I hope it translates well!
