The Empire of Ashes by Anthony Ryan
I can’t believe the conclusion to this series has arrive already! I’m looking forward to seeing how things wrap up and if the world goes down in flames and a sea of lizard-men. This will be the first of the three books that I’ll have read in print rather than audio.
The Last of August by Brittany Cavallaro
I REALLY enjoyed the first book in this series of YA Sherlock retellings so I thought it was high time to check out the second book. I do hope this will be as good as the first book!!

Another person I follow over on Librarything is just starting her read of the Tower Lord trilogy. If she really likes the whole trilogy, I might jump back in and try Ryan again. The first book I enjoyed but not enough to wait around for the rest and then I’ve forgotten about them.
If I get on that trilogy and like it, I’ll definitely be adding this trilogy. You’ve done a really good job of selling it over the year or two here on your bog 🙂

Blood Song was by far my favorite of the three… the others just didn’t do much for me 😅

I haven’t read Anthony Ryan yet but I’m pretty sure I have a copy of the first book in this trilogy. I might have to pull it out and try it😁
