The first book in this series was a surprise 5 star read back in 2017 and I’ve been dying to get my hands on the sequel ever since! Isabelle and Jean-Claude are going to once again be embroiled in court politics, but this time with a dash of serial killer thrown in. I loved the political and religious aspects of the first book, as well as Isabelle’s passion for the sciences despite the disapproval of society as a whole. I do hope the sequel will be as impressive as the first and it will be out in a few short months – January 2018!
