Like so many others, I had a great time reading The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle and had been casually keeping my eye out for Turton’s next release. Well, there is finally both a cover and synopsis so here we are! The Devil and the Dark Water promises a maritime murder-mystery and a great deal of supernatural creepiness. It sounds like the PERFECT October read, which coincidentally is when it will be released.
