I’ve been trying to primarily feature books that aren’t sequels, but I am pretty darn excited for Blood of the Chosen. Django Wexler’s Burningblade & Silvereye series seems really promising and I loved the characters in Ashes of the Sun. The political drama was starting up and this series seems to have a prime sibling vs. sibling element. I hope Maya and Gyre team up to take down the establishment – good fun! This will be out October 5, 2021.

I really need to catch up on this series. I stalled on the first book when life got busy, and somehow never picked it up again. Still want to finish though!
