Whispers Underground by Ben Aaronovitch
I’m glad to be returning to this series after a multi-month break! I’ve been in the mood for something humorous and this definitely scratches that itch, plus it’s also a great urban fantasy.
I’m going to try to actually pick up The Warrior by Stephen Aryan this week since I was a little distracted playing Pokemon Violet in all my free time last week. I’ve also been slowing making my way through 1899 on Netflix – it’s just SO weird and dark, plus it reminds me a little bit of LOST (mostly just the weirdness). Also, the Christmas preparations are in full swing, which is one of my favorite times of year. The tree is up, cookies are being made, and gifts are being ordered!

I really need to make time to watch the whole series! A few of my coworkers have watched it and said it only gets weirder as it goes 😂

This is such a great series, you just reminded me to check if there’s a next book! Hadn’t heard anything from the author for a while and that’s making me nervous.
