This came out the same day as House of Flame and Shadow and thus I’m only now getting around to reading it. I have the day off, so I might just spend all day in bed reading this!
The Heiress by Rachel Hawkins
After seeing so many rave reviews for this, I decided to pick up the audiobook (which is stellar, by the way). I’m about halfway through and loving it – especially Ruby’s letters describing her many husbands and their fates.
I’ve read a string of mediocre books recently (fantasy romance in particular) so I’m hoping my reading choices this week will be more to my taste. It’s starting to be a little warmer and the later sunlight in the evening is doing wonders for my mood overall AND the first crocuses of the year have bloomed! Hope everyone has a lovely week! 😀
