I’m always excited for a new series from Anthony Ryan and I’m made doubly so because I’ve heard that this is set in the same world as the Covenant of Steel series. A Tide of Black Steel is a Norse inspired epic fantasy following two siblings who are vying for the favor of the Sister Queens of Ascarlia. Though this is gives little to go on, I expect it will be a bloody, action packed tale! A Tide of Black Steel will be released September 24, 2024.
