My favorite season of the year has officially arrived and that means its time for me to share the fantasy, science fiction, horror, romance, and mystery books I’m most excited for in the fourth quarter of 2024. These are specifically books that I’m planning to read, but if you want a bigger list of exciting new releases, check out my 2024 Book Release master list! I hope this post helps you find some exciting new books to add to your reading list!

DECEMBER
- Wind and Truth by Brandon Sanderson – December 6, 2024

December’s really weird, in that there are only really two books I’m interested in reading. It’d be nice if everyone just got together and averaged the rest of the year out to make it more even, you know? 😁

Yes, I wish things would average out a bit towards the end of the year. I use December as a catch up month sometimes!

My TBR was manageable until the last few weeks 😬 a bunch of requests I had forgotten about got approved all at once!

Excited for so many of these, but especially The Whispering Night, I am desperate to see what happens after the ending of the second book. I also recently read The Scholar and the Last Faerie Door and loved it, though Parry can do no wrong in my eyes lol

I’m really excite for The Whispering Night! I’m so glad you like the new HG Parry! I haven’t seen too much buzz about it yet 😊

Me neither! But I do think she’s an author that doesn’t really get the hype she deserves.

I have a lighter new releases reading list for the rest of the year, which I’m hoping will help me catch up with books I missed earlier in the year!
