The Butcher’s Masquerade by Matt Dinniman
It’s once again time for a new DCC installment! I’m really looking forward to this one after the events that occurred at the end of The Gate of the Feral Gods. The story has always moved at breakneck speed, but I think the overall plot is finally solidifying into something I can truly root for.
When the Moon Hits Your Eye by John Scalzi
I’ve had this audiobook pre-ordered for months now because why wouldn’t I want to read about the moon turning to cheese? Scalzi has a particular brand of humor and character voice that is just super fun (especially in audio!).
I’m also finishing up The Raven Scholar, which has been such an excellent political fantasy with a well executed mystery AND competition element! I won’t be posting the review until a little closer to the April 15 release date, though, so keep an eye out!

The Butcher’s Masquerade was my favorite of the series, totally crazy! Listened to the audio, but just got a hard copy to read and I still can’t believe what a tome it is.
