The Everlasting by Alix E. Harrow
I basically shrieked when I got approved for this! And I was so excited that I went ahead and started reading this after finishing up my previous read. I’m going to a local event in a few weeks where Alix Harrow will be speaking, so I’m still holding out hope for a physical ARC from the publisher before then so I can get it signed. I’m 20% in and its SO GOOD!
I’ll also be picking up a new audiobook this week but I haven’t decided which one yet – perhaps the latest Dungeon Crawler Carl book (This Inevitable Ruin). I won’t have quite as much reading time now because I’m going back to work this week after a lovely three month maternity leave. I’m super jealous of the folks in the various other countries who get like an entire year off – I feel like that should be the standard!

Ooh so glad you’re loving this! I agree, maternity leave in this country is a joke. I cried so much when my three months was up my husband told me not to go back, so I didnt😁

Awww that’s awesome 😊 I would kind of miss working, mostly because I enjoy my coworkers and have a pretty relaxed office.

It really wasn’t long enough! I thought I would be bored and ready to go back to work but between baby and books I was plenty busy.
