I wrapped up Enchanting the Fae Queen on the last day of 2025 and thought it was a great way to end the year. To start the new year off right, I decided to pick up a sci-fi novella that caught my eye. Automatic Noodle was very different from my usual read but was delightfully cozy and food focused, plus I love the bright cover. After picking up three different books and putting them down again, I settled on The Casting Call – the first book in The Ether Witch series by Delemhach, which focuses on Tamlin Ashowan.
I hate to admit that I’m also still listening to Shadows Upon Time, the last book in the Sun Eater series. I was hoping to finish it, but I still have two hours left. It’s tough to get through audiobooks sometimes!

Glad to hear you loved Enchanting the Fae Queen! I hope to start it soon.

Ooh I like Burgis’s children’s books. I keep forgetting she wrote this new one for adults but I want to check it out!
