I had a VERY productive and enjoyable week of reading! I finally finished Shadows Upon Time after 6 long weeks, so I’ll be working on a review soon. I binge read the second book in the Ether Witch series, Confronting the Crafty Concubine, and thought it was very fun. I also picked up and finished the audiobook of Nine Goblins, which I’ve had sitting around since the last big Audible sale from 2025. Next up, I started Half City, an urban fantasy with demon hunters and some forbidden love! I’m also now listening to Rachel Hawkins’ latest, The Storm, and I’m finding it tough to put down.
I can’t believe I read so much over the last week! I feel like that’s a great start to the new year and I’m enjoying each of the books I’m picking, even if none have been mind-blowing yet.
