I decided to read Alchemised by SenLinYu this week after putting it off due to the sheer size of the book. I am honestly surprised at how compelling (and dark) this book is! I haven’t been able to put it down. I’m also listening to My Husband’s Wife after seeing some reviews that really caught my eye. It’s so strange and I can’t begin to predict where this is going or how the two POVs will intersect.
Thanks to my revived interest in Alice Feeney and thrillers in general, I’ve been watching His & Hers on Netflix. As I type this up I have only the last episode left to watch. Talk about an addictive tv series! I can’t speak to how it compares to the book since I haven’t read it yet.

Alchemised is such a mammoth book. I’m not surprised that you kept putting it off. I do love a chunky fantasy but 1000+ pages is definitely off putting. I’m glad that it’s so good though. It sounds fascinating although I don’t like my books too dark so that’s a bit off putting for me with this one.

I loved His & Hers on Netflix! And I haven’t read the book either. I’d love to find time though, and see how the two compare. I have heard the book has a completely different setting, so that should be interesting.
