I finished up We Hexed the Moon very early on in the week and then decided to check out Mortedant’s Peril by R.J. Barker, thus getting a jump on my busy June schedule. I also binged the rest of The Running Grave, which was fantastic and kept me anxious for the characters the entire time I was reading. I recommend the audiobooks for the series, as the narrator really brings things to life! Next up is Bryony and Roses, one of T. Kingfisher’s older books that I’ve yet to read.
It’s been a lovely week here and has mostly felt like spring… until this weekend, when I had to cover all my plants up for the night. It frosted for (hopefully) the last time. Now I can justify actually buying some plants because I won’t have to baby them and move them in and out of the house until the weather warms.
