This cover really caught my eye, mostly because it reminds me of Mark Lawrence’s The Book That Broke the World. Wickhills, however, is a fantasy thriller and I am HERE for it! This follows an intelligence agent assigned to watch over a scientist who defected who gets more than he bargained for when he finds out the scientist might have a powerful magical weapon. I’ve heard wonderful things about Premee Mohamed’s other works and can’t wait to check out Wickhills, which will be released Setpember 8, 2026.
