Weekly Recap: 5/10/26

This week I made some progress on Mortedant’s Peril by R.J. Barker and so far I like it. It has an interesting mystery to it, though our main character is not exactly the most likable fellow. Bryony and Roses has been a wonderful retelling of Beauty and the Beast with all of T. Kingfisher’s signature style hallmarks and I’ll be wrapping it up in about half an hour.

Today is Mother’s Day here in the US, so happy Mother’s Day! It’s certainly a big life change and a very important role to embrace!
