This week I’m reading The Unmagical Life of Briar Jones by Lex Croucher, which (so far) is excellent! I couldn’t believe how quickly it pulled me in. I’m also checking out The Caretaker, which is one of my most anticipated horror novels and I feel like I’m getting bogged down by the narration. I don’t love this narrator and I’ve only been able to listen to this in snippets here and there, so I’m not far in or super invested at this point.

I feel like Marcus Kliewer’s books might work better in print form. I can’t imagine trying to figure out what’s going on with audio. Good luck!

I decided to DNF for the moment. I just don’t like that narrator! I think I would enjoy it more in print, so I’ll keep an eye out for a good deal.
