This week I finished up The Unmagical Life of Briar Jones by Lex Croucher, which I LOVED and then started on The Unicorn Hunters by Katherine Arden. This seems like it’s going to be an amazing book and has already solidly grasped my attention. I’ve also been unable to resist temptation and picked up the most recent release in the Cormoran Strike series, The Hallmarked Man.
I took an extra day off so I’d have a nice long Memorial Day weekend. You’d think this would mean that I’d get more reading done, but you’d be wrong! I’ve been trying to improve one of my flower beds in between rain showers and trying to keep up with my Tiny Person who began walking and has been going full speed ever since.
