I was out of town for work most of the week and since I had free evenings, I basically decided to chill and read books. I binge read The Exquisite Torment of Loving Your Enemy, which I may have actually loved MORE than the first book. I also read The Children by Melissa Albert, and all those rave reviews were right – it was incredible! I also decided to check out a backlist audiobook title and picked Throne in the Dark, which is… cutesy. I haven’t finished it yet, but I can already tell you I likely won’t continue with the series even if it does pick up at the end.
