Weekly Recap: 8/16/26

It’s been a busy week of reading! I read The Thief and the Traitor Bride by V.L. Bovalino, which I enjoyed. I also read the novella A Short Stay in Hell by Steven L. Peck. It was a strange story and at just over 100 pages, it didn’t take long to get through. Thanks to the recent Audible sale, I decide to pick up the Emma M. Lion books in audio and re-read the first one. I like the narration! I queued up Murder at the Fitzwilliam directly after that and I have to say, it’s not quite grabbed me yet.

It’s been a busy couple weeks, so I really need to schedule some posts and write up some reviews of my recent reads. I did a quick trip to Florida last weekend to celebrate my great grandmother’s 100th birthday, which was lovely! That did mean I had to postpone my usual weekend to-do list (blogging included).
