I finally finished up The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova after about two weeks. I enjoyed it overall, particularly the different locations and historical references. I decided to pick up an audiobook that was purely fun after listening to a couple murder mysteries that I felt like I was slogging through. I randomly chose The Wolf King by Lauren Palphreyman from my recommended list and finished it in 2.5 days! It was surprisingly good and I picked up The Night Prince right after.
Happy Labor Day weekend to all of my US readers – I’ll be trying to squeeze in some extra reading during my daughter’s nap time on my day off!
