Shockingly there is no fantasy in my reading this week! I’m about halfway through Scion by James Islington, which is very different than any of his previous work. I’m also working my way through The Infinite State by Richard Swan, and it just proves that he can write brilliantly in any genre. I also decided to check out The Starving Saints by Caitlin Starling. Medieval horror was calling to me and I feel like it’s doing double duty by getting me in the mood for more fall reads!
It’s been a busy week, so not much reading was done, but hopefully this week I can finish up Scion and The Starving Saints. The Infinite State will probably take a bit longer since I’m reading a physical copy.
