I had a very productive reading week! I finished up The Blackfire Blade by James Logan AND posteda review. I started reading A Judgement of Powers by Benedict Jacka and have made it about 30% through. I also finally finished Career of Evil and then picked up the audiobook of Alchemy of Secrets by Stephanie Garber.
I have another mid-week holiday this week, which is awesome because that means I can hopefully do a bit of reading and stay inside out of the cold weather. There’s a chance of snow tomorrow and it’s only going to be in the 30s. 😭🥶

We’ve already had snow this year, but it melted. Now it’s just cold 😭

I just finished A Judgement of Powers and mostly just think Stephen is a contrary idiot when he can’t afford to be. It was still fairly fun, but may be the last installment I read of this series.

Yeah, ditto. I loved his last series, but this one just isn’t as good. I’m going to need to find some new urban fantasies to fill in though. Any recs?

You’re already getting snow! Wow! Who knows when my area will get its first. The first snow if always wondrous to me. Also, that cover for “The Blackfire Blade” and “A Judgement of Powers” are gorgeous!
